Not that far up north, just towards Cardigan actually. A pretty little village called Cenarth with this lovely set of falls in. When I visited, I was also lucky to get the last of the Autumn colours in the trees (and avoid the local policeman with a speed-gun). The other half and I couldn’t get far as the recent rain had cut off both the high and the low path so I was just able to get pictures similar to this. No matter; she enjoyed watching the local bird life who have to tackle this monster although they appear to enjoy it, riding the rapids after jumping the main drop. She nicknamed them the “Daredevil Ducks”!
The weathers calmed down now, but this means no nice sunsets, just a blanket of that awful high grey cloud, so the camera is gathering dust waiting for an improvement or things getting worse, whichever applies. Still no significant cold or snow yet though…..says he speaking too soon maybe?
